BOARD MEETINGS

Public Charter Schools are required to have meetings open to the public, and to publicly advertise the time, date, and location of these meetings. They are also required to post the meeting minutes from board meeting.

Board Meeting Schedule

The initial board of Ivy Academy’s Skillern Elementary was the same board as Ivy Academy Chattanooga. In August 2021, the size of the Ivy board grew beyond its capacity as defined in the bylaws, and board members then declared which board they would like to serve on by resigning from one and declaring service to the other. Meeting minutes prior to September 2021 can be found on the Ivy Academy Chattanooga board webpage as a part of those meeting minutes.

Meetings are now held on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 at the Rich Campus, 8459 Springfield Rd, 37379. Check the schedule by clicking the below linked document before driving to campus for the meeting in the event of a variance, which is always posted in advance according to public meeting laws. Meeting minutes generally are approved at the first board meeting following the date when the meeting minutes were taken, then posted to this page. Depending on schedules, this can be 30 to 60 days after that meeting.
